THANK YOU FOR ATTENDING #TRA2024
Thank you to all of the 4000+attendees, 150+ exhibitors and many more for making TRA 2024 Dublin, a record-breaking success!
A History of The RDS, Dublin
On 25 June 1731, a group of patriots and visionaries met for the first time and formed what is now called the RDS. They were radical thinkers who believed in the power of ideas, and of turning these ideas into action. Their mission was to put ideas into action that would transform Ireland by creating a thriving, vibrant culture and economy.
For almost 300 years the RDS has responded to the needs and priorities of Ireland, addressing gaps in the development of our culture and economy that have shaped the country.
Throughout its history, the RDS has brought momentum and scale to major issues that underpin Ireland’s culture and economy and it continues to do so today. The Dublin Organising Committee are excited to have secured this iconic venue to host TRA2024.
Your TRA2024 Campus
Our vision is to create an extraordinary and dynamic exhibition arena that showcases ground-breaking solutions within the transport sector. We are thrilled to have secured this impressive space within the prestigious RDS Campus, offering an exceptional platform for over 130 exhibition stands and the flexibility to host vibrant demonstrations both indoors and outdoors.
At TRA2024, we actively seek industry and academic partners who are eager to showcase their cutting-edge solutions in our interactive demonstrations area. These demonstrations will not only highlight remarkable technological and research advances but also provide a scintillating experience for our attendees.
Our ultimate goal is to inspire and engage the audience, illustrating how we can bridge the gap between research and practical application in a truly captivating manner.
Royal Dublin Society – Simmonscourt Complex
The heart of our event lies in the main plenary session, where we can accommodate over 3,500 individuals.
Additionally, the Simmonscourt Hall within the RDS Campus offers ample space for various side events, public lectures, and captivating installations that will stimulate and inspire our attendees.
We have one of the largest outdoor demo areas of all TRAs with a capacity of 22,000 sq. m. within the Simmonscourt campus itself.
Venue Floorplan – RDS
The RDS Campus boasts the capacity to host three of our technical sessions, accommodating over 1,000 attendees each, and will host more than 10 parallel sessions as part of the TRA programme.
We’ll have a dedicated Irish Pavilion and a presentation stage to host educational sessions during our lunch and refreshment breaks.
