The deadline for abstracts for the Transport Research Arena (TRA2024) conference has been extended to 29th May 2023! TRA2024 will be held in Dublin from 15th – 18th April 2024. Transport Research Arena (TRA) is the foremost European transport event that covers all transport modes and all aspects of mobility. It is the largest European research and technology conference on transport and mobility, and the conference tagline for TRA2024 is Transport Transitions: Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility.
A number of primary themes have been defined and include:
- Safe & Inclusive Transport
- Sustainable Mobility of People and Goods
- Collaborative Digitalisation
- Efficient & Resilient Systems
Transport Research Arena (TRA) offers a great venue for researchers, policymakers and industry representatives to come together and discuss how research and innovation can reshape our transport and mobility systems. The conference provides a unique opportunity to hear about the latest mobility trends from across Europe and beyond, to learn from new industry achievements and share best practices for policies and deployments.
TRA2024 is now accepting abstracts and participants have the option to submit a full paper or a short industry paper. The new deadline for abstracts is May 29th 2023 – we look forward to hearing from you!
Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan hosts Transport Research Arena (TRA) Management Committee
As part of the lead-up to TRA2024, a Transport Research Arena (TRA) Management Committee meeting and a tour of the conference facility was held in the RDS on 8th March.
Those in attendance included Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan, the CEO of Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Peter Walsh, as well as representatives from the European Commission and European Research & Technology Platforms.
